The Zattoo TV web player is a visually immersive and dynamic TV and video content discovery experience. An evolution of the more traditional list and grid based live TV discovery solutions, we created a system allowing compelling content to be explored in simple, engaging way.
Roles & responsibilities: UX and Design director, team lead, interaction design, art direction, user research, prototyping, project coordination, specification and documentation, UX strategy.
The Highlights page is the first screen a user sees after registration or login, and needed to be attractive, engaging, and relevant. We developed a content discovery system and responsive, modular UI framework to allow our users to find what they want to watch now, later, or even in the past via our Recall catch-up TV feature.

The program details view was developed to provide at-a-glance information about films and TV programs, surfacing the rich metadata we have for all our available content. Additional related content blocks allow the user to find inspiration even if not sure what they are looking for.

We provide an EPG (electronic program guide) as a traditional TV discovery solution, with enhancements like responsive layout, dynamic, navigation, and PiP video to allow more dynamic multi-task usage.
